2. It is related to the type of insulating paint, the drying process of the stator, and the storage environment of the motor. When using amino or phenolic-based insulating paint, the molecular chain of the paint is unstable during the hardening process and low molecular substances will overflow: such as formaldehyde. When the temperature and humidity are appropriate, the condensation reaction between formaldehyde and moisture produces formic acid, which will The grease is hydrolyzed, which then corrodes the bearings and produces paint rust.  Formaldehyde + water molecules (oxygen group) → formic acid + grease (base oil) → hydrolysis → corrosion and rust.


Prevention of paint rust:


1. The stator drying process must be guaranteed;


2. When the paint in the paint tank is not used for several days, it must be stirred regularly, otherwise it will easily agglomerate;


3. For solvent-based insulating paint, when the solvent used is different, the drying time should be adjusted appropriately. For example, the fixed time of rosin water is at least 1 hour compared to xylene;


4. The stator sizes of motors of different specifications are different, and the process time must be adjusted appropriately;


5. In order to ensure that the used stator paint gas is completely released, the stator should be used on a first-in, first-out basis, and allow the stator to be naturally ventilated for a period of time after drying;


6. Try to use epoxy solvent-free insulating paint: because it is a low molecular acid and relatively stable, and it is easier to judge whether the paint has been dried during the production process (because it dries from the inside out, and the surface layer dries. The inside is also dried, unlike amino paint which dries from the outer layer to the inside, which can easily cause false impressions and misjudgment);


7. Avoid complete sealing during the extensive process and ventilate as much as possible. Place pallets on the humid warehouse floor and away from walls and corners to ensure ventilation;


8. When selecting grease, if the requirements for motor bearing noise and starting torque are not high, try to use grease with mineral oil as the base oil;
